Why advertise on ForReel?

ForReel's mission is to have local internet users return to ForReel every time they wish to find movie information. We provide free information that is exclusively of interest to the demographic region of Vancouver Island, which allows us to guarantee that your ad is seen by your local customer base.

ForReel is aggressively promoted both on the internet and using traditional marketing techniques. As a direct result of this effort, ForReel's hit rate has shown a steady increase since the site was posted in January of 1999.

ForReel currently receives thousands of hits per month.

Potentially, ForReel's audience can consist of all people who are connected to the internet in Victoria, Duncan, Nanaimo, Courtenay, Comox, Campbell River, Port Alberni and surrounding areas. There is no age restriction, as internet users range in age from small children to senior citizens. This broad user group from a focused geographic area allows flexibility for complementary businesses to advertise.

Advertisers

Advertiser: A company that purchases space on the movie-listing pages and/or the theatre page. All ad space is available on a "first-come, first-served" basis. ForReel's professional graphic designer can develop your ad for a reasonable fee. If you provide the ad, ForReel reserves the right to optimize the graphic for the Internet without affecting its appearance. Please note that ForReel reserves the right to limit the file size of ads to ensure the visual quality of this site.

There are several ad sizes and and positions available. You will find samples of each of these ads on this page:

Genre banner	234 x 50 pixels	To the right of section titles on any page.
Large button	100 x 45 pixels	In the column on the left side of any page.

Notes: Genre ads and button ads will be rotated on the page on a weekly basis, ensuring that all ads receive equal exposure. Ads will be accepted for any page with the exception of the front page of the site.
